Hilary Duff has dyed her hair pink – see the photos

Hilary Duff is a fully paid-up member of the rainbow hair brigade - changing her locks from a mermaid-esque bluey-green, to a pink shade!

The former Lizzie McGuire star, who is in the midst of re-launching her singing career, shared a photo of her new look to her Instagram page, captioning the photo "#nofilter #sparks".

A few weeks back, Hilary had been rocking her sea green locks in a number of ways - a drastic change from the blonde hair she's had since her Disney teen star days.

Perhaps she was inspired by Kylie Jenner, who also went from green to pink between Coachella weekends (although Kylie was most definitely wearing a wig).

Duff spoke about her first hair change on The Ellen Show, revealing: "I've never done anything like this! I was just in Cabo with my son and I was staring at the ocean, and I was like, I want that on my head...So this happened."

But apparently, her son Luca has strong opinions on how the Mum has her hair:

"Luca is very particular about how he likes my hair...There’s absolutely no buns on my head, no ponytails. I’ll have a ponytail and he’s like, 'Um, hair down, Mom. Hair down please.' At least he knows what he likes!"
