Brit model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was the epitome of style and sophistication at this year's Costume Institute Gala. We might not be able to bag her Ralph Lauren floor sweeper anytime soon but we can try and recreate her elegant hair style.
Celebrity hair stylist Christian Wood created the glossy sleek bun using Moroccanoil. The stylist said of the look, “As soon I saw the stunning Ralph Lauren gown I knew the hair needed to be simple, clean and elegant – old Hollywood with a modern twist.”
Here's how to get Rosie's look at home...
Step 1
Start by applying Moroccanoil Treatment Light onto damp hair to add shine and create the perfect foundation for styling. For thicker hair, use Moroccanoil Treatment Original.
Step 2
Blow dry hair using a Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Round Brushand once the hair is completely dry, create a deep side part using the Moroccanoil Tail Comb.
Step 3
Lightly mist with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairsprayand brush behind the ears.
Step 4
Add a pea size amount of Moroccanoil Molding Cream onto the palms of your hands and gently glide over the top of the head to remove fly-aways and give hair hold.
Step 5
Using the comb, scoop hair up into a ponytail and secure with an elastic for extra security, followed by gently combing out any ridges.
Step 6
Next, twist the hair up into a classic chignon by wrapping the hair around the ponytail and tucking in the ends. Use small pins to secure.
Step 7
Mist allover with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine to add an extra boost of shine and gloss to the hair.
Step 8
Finish the look by spraying the ends of a makeup powder brush with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and dust over the entire head to tame any stray hairs.
