The bob has never been bigger than it is right now. Fancy the chop? Akin Konzi, HOB Salons’ International Creative Director and current British Hairdresser of the Year tells us what to go for:

WHAT'S THE BIGGEST BOB TREND THIS WINTER?

This winter incorporate a short above the eyebrow heavy fringe into your bob, this look is great for most length bobs and is very much the look of the moment. The key is to ask for a fringe that is heavy yet looks slightly nibbled to give a contemporary look.

DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT FACE SHAPE?

For me it’s about what suits you as an individual. So look in your mirror at home and pull your hair away from your face then slowly add hair until you find your ‘wow’ length.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE IT CUT TO KEEP IT LOOKING GOOD?

A cut every 3-6 weeks will keep your bob in check.

WHO DO YOU THINK ROCKS THE BOB BEST? Karlie Kloss looks great at the moment with her textured wavy bob.

WHAT ARE A COUPLE OF QUICK WAYS TO STYLE A BELOW CHIN BOB? A straight bob always looks sharp or curl the hair all in one direction and then brush it out with a Mason Pearson brush to reveal a finger wave look.
