The telly BAFTAs 2017 happened, meaning central London was awash with powdery-hued dresses, flashing lights and expensive perfumes competing with each other. There were so many shelebs in one space, it was like the TV threw up. In a good way.

Of course, we want to know who looked babein' and yes yes YES we want to know who actually won something. But, we also wanna know what beauty looks the A-list are coveting, so we know what to reach for when we are next in Superdrug.

The main thing we can draw from the BAFTA 2k17 crowd? Your nana was right, less is more.

Out go harsh contour and thick lashes and in come dewy skin and barely-there lips. Anything that means less time getting ready on a morning gets a mighty thumbs up from us.

Here is the cream of the crop ladies and gentleman.

1. Eleanor Tomlinson's pink eyeshadow

Pink eyeshadow no longer needs to remind you of your year six disco. Oh no. Pink eyeshadow is all grown up and has even been worn by a slew of instababes recently (oh and yeah you Kylie Jenner, who could forget). Whether you opt for a dusty pink or a warm terracotta shade - pink lids are the colour of season, huns.

We love - This pink pot from NYX, which is a steal for £3.50!

2. Ophelia Lovibond' barely there lips

BAFTAS 2017

Barely there lips? Erm, what is that strange concept you speak of? Yup, away with those harsh lip liners (we were finding it exasperating drawing on a pout every morning anyways) and go for a hint of shimmer a la Victoria Beckham at a posh brunch.

It's so much more wearable now it's warmer, don't ya reckon?

We love Soap & Glory's Motherpucker lipgloss, £9

3. Ella Eye's healthy blush

BAFTAS 2017

Ella Eyre never looks short of fabulous and the BAFTA’s was no different. The singer parred her gloriously-girly, fuchsia frock with a subtle blush making her look like she has spent the last few months sipping kale juice on a yacht in Cannes.

If you’ve checked your online banking and this isn’t in your budget (brb, crying) then you’re gonna need to fake it till ya make it honey! We love using a creme blusher for that dewy effect.

**We love: **Kiko's creamy blush stick in 'Golden peach', £8.90

4. Pearl Mackie's red carpet red lips

So it's either barely-there, 'can't be arsed' lips or it's full thwack, scarlet lips that scream 'Hollywood glamour'. Doctor Who actress Pearl Mackie shows us how it's done, by toning down the rest of her make up to give a power pout. Stick to subtle bronzed shades on your eyes and make sure your lipstick is a uber pigmented, matte shade to perfect this look.

We love - Charlotte Tillbury's matte revolution lipstickin red carpet red £24. Though it's pricey, it's non-drying and won't budge aaaaaall day. We can't live without it.

5. Anna Friel's hella bright highlight

Anna shows us highlighting is here to stay with skin so bright it could be seen from Jupiter. No really, it could. To get this look at home, dab on your favorite highlighter along your cheekbones, nose and cupids bow. Easy peasy.

** We love** - Blogger's fave Sleek's Solstice highlighting palette, £10 the rose gold shade is perfect for summer skin.
