And to be honest, we got a little bit jealous of their radiant looks - so those lovely people at The X Factor invited us backstage to find out just how their Chief make-up artist, Julia Carta, made them look SO good.
Get Lauren’s look…
With Lauren, a spray tan was a must, with Julia, telling heat they used Beautylab London’s Winter tan to give her a flawless glow.
Julia adds: “Once her skin was a blank canvas I applied the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre to nourish her skin then applied the Kryolan HD Micro Primer, giving it time to settle before applying makeup.
“To create the look of her baby soft skin, I concealed to perfection using Clinique Airbrush Concealer then applied the Kryolan HD Foundation to give a flawless look.
“To knock off any shine, I used a minimal amount of Magic Minerals Powder along her T-Zone. I achieved that gorgeous luminous radiance with the Highlight Ben Nye Luminere Luxe Powder on the cheekbones, centre of the nose, cupids bow and browbone to highlight and brighten her face. I also applied Body Bling to her shoulders, legs and arms.”
And what about Lauren’s trademark sparkling eyes?
For her eyes, I used the Fardel Glitter from Screenface and the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Black,” Julia told us. “Then applied a set of House of Glam Doll lashes. I finished with lashings of Dior Show mascara.
“To enhance her already beautiful cheek bones, I contoured her cheekbones with the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow and applied the Benefit Coralista Blush on the apples of her cheeks.”
“We completed her look by defining her brows with the Shavata Brow Palette and on her nails we used Sensationail.”
Get Fleur’s look…
Like Lauren, Fleur’s skin was enhanced by Beautylab London's Winter tan to give her skin a radiant glow.
“I also applied Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre to Fleur to nourish her skin then applied the Rehab Back to Matte serum, giving it time to settle before applying makeup,” Julia reveals.
She adds: “I then applied the MAC Studio Fix power along her T-Zone to minimise shine. I achieved that gorgeous luminous radiance with the Highlight Kryolan Illusion Palette on the cheekbones, centre of the nose, cupids bow and browbone to highlight and brighten her face. I also applied Body Bling Original to her shoulders, legs and arms.”
But what about Fleur’s INCREDIBLE eye and lip combo?
“For her eyes, I used the Mehron Metallic Powder and Kryolan Eye Liner in black, next I applied a set of Eylure lashes in 117,” Julia adds.
“To enhance her already beautiful cheek bones, I contoured with the Sleek pallette and used the Benefit Fine One Body on the apples of her cheeks. I then used the Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer to further define her brows.
“For Fleur's lips I used the MAC Lady Danger Gloss and MAC Clear Gloss.”
Picture perfect.
