The Only Way Is Essex star Jon Clark and his brother Chris Clark were messing around on Instagram Story over the weekend, after Jon was stung by a wasp, but things soon took a dramatic turn when the reality star had an allergic reaction to the sting, leaving him thinking he was going to die.

Jon, who starred on series one of Love Island in 2015, took to his social media pages earlier today (6th August) to document his scary ordeal which left NHS doctors and nurses having to save his life.

Updating fans, Jon wrote, 'Take my hat off to the people of @nhsenglandldn last night… they saved my life… after I had an anaphylactic shock.'

He went on to explain, 'When they administered me antibiotics in the arm within 30seconds I couldn’t breath my neck started to swell up and I genuinely thought I was going to die! Scariest thing ever happened to me in my life! After they hit me with adrenaline shots and had at least 12 doctors, trauma nurses, nurses all attending to me at once I gradually regained my breathing and the realisation at happened just sunk in!

'What amazing people yes it’s hard for them but take a min to think they trying and there’s nowhere in the world where you can have your life saved like we do in this country! I will be forever grateful for what you did last night Joe you was amazing dawn and Steve what wonderful people you are.' [sic]
