It's Mental Health Awareness Week from 14th - 20th May, 86% of people agree mental health is one of the biggest challenges facing the country. Here at heat radio we want to encourage you to take time to talk about your emotions openly.

We're launching a campaign calledWhere's Your Head At? which will improve the mental health of the nation by ensuring employers look after the well being of their workforce. We all have mental health – In just the same way as we each have a physical fitness. Evidence also shows that the earlier a mental health issue - like stress, anxiety or depression - is detected the easier it is to manage and treat. We want to make it easy for you to talk about your mental health at work & ensure that there are trained colleagues on site who know how to point you in the direction of any help you might need.

We're joining forces with Mental Health First Aid to raise at least 100,000 signatures on a petition to make mental health first aiders a requirement in the workplace or college taken to parliament to be debated.

So, what are you waiting for? Head over to wheresyourheadat.org to sign the petition.
