Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll be asking the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…

This week it's all about internet sensation and content creator, Ami Charlize. At just 17 years old, Ami has amassed 3.5 million followers on TikTok, hosts her own chart-topping podcast, Ami Charlize Private Story and is one of PrettyLittleThing's youngest brand ambassadors. This year, she even penned her own book, 'My World and Challenges, Changes and Chasing My Dreams' which shares the ups and downs of a viral content creator. Honestly? We are in awe. 👏

Ami chats exclusively to heat about self-care Sunday routine, her new-found love for the gym and the £2 primer she wears 'every single time' she does her make-up...

What does the ultimate self-care Sunday look like for Ami?

"My ideal Sunday would definitely involve a lie in, you actually can't beat a lie in. Then it would definitely be going to the gym and seeing my family. We always have a roast on a Sunday in my house. I also think when it comes to self-care, it's important for me to tidy my room and make the time to do my skincare.

"I always try to take my Sunday seriously! Say if I'm watching Arsenal play, I make sure I've still got the whole evening to do my routine. I love a bath, I have a bath every day. I literally wake up and get in the bath or at night time, it could be midnight and I'm in the bath. I like watching at least one podcast episode in the bath just to chill."

"I'm a CeraVe girl through and through, it's never changed and I don't think it ever will. I always start with the foaming cleanser from CeraVe, £7 and then I go straight to moisturiser. I've really stripped down my skincare, I think sometimes too much is too irritating for my skin and I've really learned the hard way. I will just use the Nivea Soft Cream, £2 which I absolutely love or the Tatcha Dewy Skin Moisturiser, £67. So, I just clean my face, moisturise, put a lip mask on and then I'm ready for bed."

"I'm a drugstore girly, I always go back to my roots. It could be Revolution, it could be ELF, but at the moment I am loving Revolution's Jelly Blush, £5.99. It's a dupe for the Milk Makeup one and I'm obsessed with it. It's the most long-lasting blush on my skin. I've never had something that stays so natural but lasts all day long. I'm wearing the shade Peach at the moment and I'm loving that."

"Also. I will always talk about the Nivea Soft Cream, £2. It's the best primer and it's so affordable and it works so well. I'm constantly getting more of them."

On make-up tips

"Something my make-up artist taught me is to start putting a bit of bronzer on your eyelids. It's changed the game. I never used to do it, but now, even if I'm just doing basic make-up, I'm bronzing my cheeks and my forehead, but if I didn't bronze my eyes it would just feel incomplete. It's such an easy hack and I love it."

"I swear by the Rapunzel Hair Syrup, £12.35. I've been using Hair Syrup since they first started. As a small business I think it's amazing how well they've done. I've been using it for ages now and I do see visible results when I need to have a break from hair extensions. They're out again at the moment and it's great as I can put as much oil in as I want. I feel like my hair is getting stronger and healthier by the day. I think not using as much bleach and using Hair Syrup has really improved my hair health."

On daily wellness habits

"I've discovered recently that I have such a love for the gym. It's weird because I was always a person who would prefer an activity group to being at the gym by myself, but I haven't missed a gym day in forever. The gym is something I would ideally do every single day if I could, I absolutely love it. I'm focusing on weight training at the moment and lots of cardio. Everyone says about the winter arc and to start working out and getting ready for summer next year, so that's my aim at the moment."

On podcasts

"I listen to my podcast back the day before it comes out. I always watch it when it's out so I feel like I'm one of my followers watching it. It's so cool that I can put [my podcast] on my telly, it makes me think, 'What the hell is going on?!' It's so exciting.

"I also love Jake Shane's podcast, Therapuss. I've watched literally every episode, I'm obsessed with him. The way that he's a Swifty too, I think there's a bond there. If he's ever in the UK, I need him on my podcast!"

On wise advice

"Something that has always been drilled into me by my dad and he's always told me if I do this one thing for the rest of my life, it will get me far. It's 'The people you meet on the way up, you will meet on the way down.' I've seen other people treat others badly if they're not as rich or successful as them, not just in the industry but in life. I definitely try and make sure I treat everyone with the same amount of respect.'

Quickfire round:

What show are you currently watching? Definitely Outer Banks

How do you like your cuppa? If I'm having a tea, I don't have sugar. If it's a matcha then it's always the white chocolate matcha from Blank Street. It's an addiction, all my friends give me gift cards for my birthday.

Go-to loungewear brand? PrettyLittleThing, always. I'm literally wearing it right now. They've got an activewear collection out at the moment and it's chef's kiss.

Everyday perfume? Yves Saint Laurent Libre, I've used it for years.

Go-to takeaway order? It's Archie's if I'm in Manchester, it's all I eat. I get the buttermilk tenders, the curly fries and a milkshake always.

Favourite candle? Scented Studio - it's my sister's friend's small business and it's amazing. They have the only candles that don't damage my room with all that dirty black stuff, so I swear by hers.
