What does an ultimate day of self-care look like for you?

I find it hard to sit still, so I noticeably feel the difference when I do take time out for myself. Sometimes, the clothes just need to stay in the washing machine an extra hour. I like to mix things up, so it may be reading, playing my cello – badly – doing some type of craft or being outside looking after the garden. But the gym is where I feel my best, and I’ve started booking a facial now and then. It’s about doing what works best for you.

What daily wellness habits do you swear by?

I drink water as soon as I get up to feel hydrated and alert. In the mornings and evenings, it’s only classical music in the house, as it keeps things calm and focused. If I’m not working, I always put my gym kit on to try to make sure I fit some form of physical activity within the day. And for part of my breakfast, I have a Yakult – I notice I feel bloated and sluggish when I don’t.

How do you approach fitness?

I try to mix things up. I have a Watt bike at home if I’m pushed for time. I’m a member of David Lloyd Gyms and love spending time in them, either a for workout, a game of squash or to use the spa facilities. I actually block time exercise in my diary. For me, it’s as important as meetings.

Best advice you’ve ever received?

The only thing you can control is you. When you waste energy trying to work out what others might be thinking or saying it benefits no one and most of the time, they aren’t even saying or thinking what you believe to be true. Just do you.

How do you take your cuppa?

Earl Grey, strong, with a spoonful of maple syrup.

What are you binge-watching at the moment?

Rivals on Disney+.

Fave loungewear brand?

That's a tricky one. I love my Adidas tracksuits - been wearing them since my CBBC days and the brighter the better. But for more snuggly struff, The White Company is on my Christmas list.

Yakult Plus Peach is packed with friendly bacteria to increase the bacteria in the gut.* Plus, it’s rich in vitamin C to support immunity and help lower fatigue.**

*Yakult's bacteria L. casei Shirota, increase both the lactobacilli and bifidobacteria in the gut.

**Vitamin C supports the normal functioning of the immune system and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
