Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll ask the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…
This week it's all about Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi. She may have only joined the chart-topping Netflix show during season six, but she's since proved herself main character-worthy thanks to her glam AF looks, down-to-earth sense of humour and saying it exactly how it is. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself, whilst being extremely loyal to those she loves. Essentially, we all need a Bre in our lives. 💅
Bre is also proud mum to two-year-old son Legendary Love who she shares with TV host, Nick Cannon.
Season 8 of the show has finally dropped and to celebrate, Bre chats exclusively to heat about filming secrets, fitness routines and the make-up ride-or-dies she swears by for filming.
On the edit
Selling Sunset is back on Netflix for another season - does Bre watch herself back? And is she happy with the edit and how she was portrayed?
"Unfortunately, we do watch it back! We're forced to relive this and see what's made the cut. But it's interesting because you always think it's going to be easy but it's never easy to rewatch.
"No one is ever fully happy. And you know, we always think that things could have been different or wish things were used or whatever. I just don't really care, to be entirely honest, I feel like for the most part, the viewers are very smart. They see through any of the extras or anything else trying to be pushed or portrayed in a certain way and the viewers are just smarter than that. I kind of just go with what it is."
On filming secrets
"The filming secret is that you genuinely just cannot care. You really can't take any of this stuff personally. You can't beat yourself up over it or stay up at night. Mary [Bonnet] is one of my favourites, she cracks me up because she's like, 'Damn I wish I never said that!' And I'm like, Mary, it's okay, you said that in the moment because that's how you felt and you have to own it and that's just what it is.
"It's just knowing who you are as a person, being grounded and having your real people around you and letting people think what they want. It honestly doesn't matter what you do or say, people are going to see it how they see it. I don't really see the point wasting my time with it."
On make-up ride-or-dies
"I actually am neurotic when it comes to my make-up and all of my products. I had the same make-up artist for my entire career. I met her when I was 17 and I'm going to be 34 this year and I had never had anyone else touch my face. She unfortunately moved to Nashville so it took me months to find a new make-up artist. When my new make-up artist started, I had this whole list of beauty products because I'm actually allergic to so much stuff.
"My full breakdown of products includes the Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder, £52 for setting my make-up. I have all these little tricks, for my undereye, I'll use the Shape Tape Concealer, £27 and then I'll go in with the Kevyn Aucoin Concealer, £34.80 but I'll put a tiny, tiny drop of Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil, £61.20 because otherwise, it can look really caked and crazy. This coverage under the eye really saved my life after I was postpartum and filming up all night with my son, you wouldn't even know it's like magic.
"I love the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, £32.50, lots of MAC I still love and Anastasia Beverley Hills is amazing. I have a full list and I never change my products ever. It's been 10-plus years at this point."
On looking flawless on TV
"I love the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray, £20 - that setting spray is life. I wear make-up for so long especially when I'm filming and with my skin being so dry, this airbrush setting spray saved my life."

On budget beauty buys
"The Got2b Glued Hairspray, £5.50, I love the hairspray. Your hair will not move. And it doesn't make your hair crispy and gross, it just keeps your hair looking perfect without it looking crazy."
On self-care days
What does the ultimate self-care pamper day look like for Bre?
"I wish I could say I've had one of these since I've had my son, but my weekends are full-force Ledgy activities, play dates and bonding time. We take naps together, I make sure I get in my entire weekend with him.
"I wake up, we have coffee, he actually makes my coffee for me now, it's really cute. Everything is Ledgy at that point. We've got soccer and all the fun kids stuff, so no mommy days for me, unfortunately."
On #extra beauty treatments
"I do them all, all of the time. I just had an IV drip on Saturday and was super hungover from going to see Jelly Roll and I just needed all the help. Two weeks ago I did that salmon sperm facial thing, I'll do any of it. If you tell me it's gonna do something for me, I'm here for it - just let me know where to be!"
On daily wellness habits
"I'm a big water drinker, I'm really into drinking a gallon of water a day, which sounds insane, but when you actually carry it with you it's pretty easy to do.
"I definitely take my vitamins every day as well as a protein shake. I try and eat really clean and healthy. I have a meal prep service that I used when I started getting really busy with the show and my son - that saved my life. I definitely do all of that. Ginger shots, I try and do the most."
On workouts
"I'm obsessed with the gym, I'm someone who has to work out. If I don't, I start getting an itch that I have to go to the gym and I'll get really upset if I don't have time to go because it just releases those endorphins and I feel so much better afterwards. It's definitely a stress release for me and it's been something I grew up doing every single morning of my entire life.
"Since having my son, it's been really hard, even this morning I was on the peloton and I literally had to hold him whilst I was on the Peloton because he was crying and he wanted to be with me. It's hard finding that balance between doing something for myself and then not taking care of myself properly."
On life-changing advice
"How To Win Friends and Influence People, was a book recommended to me by my manager. He said there was a different way to winning people over but staying true to who you are. I've yet to master that but I've tried!"
On wise advice
"The biggest one was 'those who anger you, are your master'. My partner said that to me and you know, obviously with the show coming out and everything that was going on and seeing the girls just going off and everything that was transpiring.
"When he said that, I was like, you're so right. Anything that can upset you definitely controls you. I think that's a big thing I'm implementing into my life. We don't have any control over the way anyone acts or how they feel or how they respond. It's important not to take on that weight as it's not ours to bear."
Quickfire round:
Show you’re currently binging? I've started watching The Perfect Couple and I'm hooked.
Go-to cuppa? I really just drink black coffee unless there's a healthy creamer.
Go-to loungewear brand? I'm either wearing full Alo Yoga or Lululemon.
Everyday perfume? I love Mugler Alien, £67 - I've been wearing that forever.
Go-to takeaway order? I love Mexican food, I'm obsessed with bean and cheese burritos.
Favourite candle? It's really sad because I lost my smell and taste when I was pregnant with my son and I've never been able to smell again. I normally love the holiday vibe or like Pumpkin, those kinds of scents.
