I interview celebs for a living – and they all swear by this clever beauty hack for a ‘lit-within’ glow

It's beauty's worst-kept secret.

Glow

I am on an eternal quest for glowy skin. I want to look so ridiculously radiant that I must guzzle green juices for breakfast and spend my weekends frequenting fancy Cotswolds' spas. I want my cheekbones so luminous it would rival the cast of Made In Chelsea. I want that lit-within glow that the celeb lot have perfected to a T.

I have interviewed plenty of celebrities about their beauty routines over the years and they all tell me their mega-watt glow is down to same thing. And no, it's not down to boujeee facials, electrolytes or a diet containing only sad kale. Their secret is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, £39.

For anyone new here, Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Filter is essentially the Paris filter in a bottle. With just a few strokes it adds a sheer coverage, plenty of dew, whilst smoothing and hydrating skin. The glow-inducing multi-tasker can be used as a primer, foundation or as a highlighter, simply dab across your highpoints for that coveted lit-within finish.

The Hollywood Flawless Filter is often immitated by drug store brands, but the real deal is unparalleled. Knock off versions may save you a couple of quid, but are often too shimmery, can cause breakouts and end up patchy before your 11am meeting. Charlotte's unique formula is forever a celebrity favourite thanks to its IRL filter effect, skincare benefits and pro grip technology for a stay-all-day blur.

I have almost finished my second bottle of the stuff and can confirm that it is brilliant, gives zero shimmer (yet plenty of glow!) and lasts for ages. In fact, one bottle lasts me almost a year. According to Girl Maths, it's basically free.
