I tried Estrid’s new body care range and here are my honest thoughts

The 'gram-worthy razor brand has expanded its offering, but is it actually any good?

Estrid review bodycare

Similarly to avocado brunches, polished skincare shelfies and day in the life reels - Estrid's pastel razors are everywhere on Instagram. For those who are yet to be acquainted - the vegan-friendly shaving brand is a subscription-based service and it's been endorsed by all your favourite influencers.

Despite being in the hair removal biz, Estrid promotes choice when it comes to shaving and proudly states on their social media, "all hair and non-hairy humans welcome here".

Yep, they believe shaving is a choice and want to make things easier and more enjoyable for those who want to de-fuzz. Say it louder for those at the back!

Now the brand has branched out into body care, but is it actually any good? I tested the range and here are my (very) honest thoughts...

So, Estrid. How does it work?

Estrid

Estrid is a subscription razor brand which you can pause, stop and restart anytime. You start by picking your razor colour (including my faves Bloom and Matcha) and you'll receive an Estrid razor, matching holder, and two refillable razor blades, You then decide how often you want replacement blades delivered and voila!

The price for a starter kit is £7.95 and it's always free delivery. Very generous if you ask me.

All Glow'd Up - The Sugar Scrub (£10.95)

Estrid

Highlight ingredients: watermelon extract and sunflower seed oil.

A scrub so good, it's made me love body scrubs again. I loved how it literally resembles a fluffy pink paste and it is so enjoyable to use. You can really spread the product easily and a little goes a long way. The smell is heavenly and although I wish the scent was stronger, it's a nice middle-ground for anyone with sensitive skin.

Will it get your fake tan off? Sadly no, but it's a great day-to-day exfoliation that makes your skin gleam.

Would I repurchase? Absolutely.

Watermelon Jelly Shower + Shave (£8.95)

Estrid

Highlight ingredients: watermelon extract and sunflower seed oil.

Okay, so at first this one disappointed me. I am used to ultra-scented and extremely lathering shower gels and this one at first felt a little 'meh'. I also hated how you needed a fair few pumps to get enough product out. I'm permanently tired, okay!

However, a few weeks later of daily use and this one has really grown on me. The scent is more subtle, yes, but somehow feels more expensive and means my boyfriend likes using it, too. The fact I can't accidentally tip half the bottle down the plughole means this has lasted for ages (I'm only halfway through!). The gentle lathering means your skin doesn't feel stripped afterwards and of course, it's intended to use as a nourishing shaving cream which has saved me money and shower space.

It was a slow burner for me, but I'm a true convert. I'm sorry I ever doubted you, hun.

Would I repurchase? Yes!

Body Fluff Daily Moisturiser

Body Fluff

Highlight ingredients: shea butter, squalene, and marshmallow root extract,

Okay, this is my favourite product from the range, hands down. It smells absolutely incredible (almost like summer in a bottle?) and I actually look forward to using it. It's very hydrating without feeling greasy and my skin loves it.

I love how the scent lingers all day and it looks stunning on my skincare shelfie. If I had to improve it in any way, I'd love a little travel version, please! But all in all, it really is just a flawless product. Bravo. 10/10.

Would I repurchase? In a heartbeat.
