Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll ask the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…

This week it's all about Grace Jackson, the shining star of Love Island series 11. She may have bombshelled her way into the villa on day 12 but quickly became a cast favourite after cementing herself as a true girl's girl, remaining 'unbothered' amidst the petty drama (cough, Joey Essex) and serving plenty of incredible outfits - from colourful cut-out maxi dresses to edgy denim co-ords.

The latter also meant the 26-year-old iconically launched a glam clothing collection with fashion retailer EGO, which even debuted at Paris Fashion Week. We love to see it. 👏

Grace chats exclusively to heat about her villa beauty routine, gym motivation and the wise words she lives by...

Grace came across well on the show, but what did she make of how she was portrayed?

"I think in every situation I was put in or ended up in, that's exactly how I would have acted on the outside. There wasn't ever a time where I thought, 'That was a bit of a facade'. That was very much my personality to a T and I think day-to-day, it's hard to lie. Nothing is scripted and putting on a persona that isn't actually how you are is quite difficult. Everything that was shown is exactly who I am as a person."

On watching the show back

Has Grace watched the show back or avoided it at all costs?

"When I first came out, it was all over TikTok at the time so whenever I was scrolling on socials I would just see clips of the show. I did watch a few episodes back, but I think because you've just come off the show, lived it in real life, to then watch it back again, see it on socials and so many people were asking me about it, I just felt so consumed by it. So when I got to bed, the last thing I wanted to do was watch Love Island. I just needed something different and not to think about it for five minutes."

What does the ultimate day off look like for the star?

"I'm a Virgo, so I'm a proper clean freak! If I'm ever feeling stressed out, I will clean and it's so therapeutic to me. I also go to the gym, I train quite a lot. That's ultimate self-care to me because it's just so good for my mental health as well as my physical body. I also love walks, exercise and juices on a self-care day."

On make-up favourites in the villa

"I loved the Garnier Face Tanning Drops, £10 and started using them in the villa. In the dressing room, they would just have so many products and we would all be just trying things. I also loved the Made by Mitchell Curve Case Palettes, £22.95.

"I love a natural look, I'm a bit of a dewy girl and I don't like too heavy glam even at night. I pretty much do the same make-up all the time, unless it's a bit heavier on the eyes which I don't even try to delve into because I'm not that great with eye make-up.

"I'm a Charlotte Tilbury girl, all of her stuff works with my skin and gives me such a nice finish. I used the Hollywood Flawless Filter, £39 pretty much every day. That's what I would use as my base because obviously it's so hot and you don't want to put that much make-up on when it's so sunny. I would literally just use that it would give you a bit of colour and glow, and then I would use a bit of concealer, blush, mascara, eyebrows and lipgloss - you would only have 10/15 minutes to get ready in the morning anyway."

On make-up tips

"My favourite make-up tip is that less is more, especially for me. I prefer products that enhance what you've already got instead of trying to cover up."

On budget beauty buys

"I love L'Oreal's Glotion, £9.50. It's a BB cream but it's got glow in it and a bit of colour and that's literally changed my life. I got it in three colours for when I'm a bit paler and I wear it day-to-day. You know when you want to go grab a coffee but you want a little bit of something on your skin? I absolutely love that. Today I'm wearing shade 'Medium Deep'.

"Also, I've got a BB cream from Primark Beauty and it's about five pounds and everything I use it people are like, 'What have you got on your skin?' I actually gave it to my best friend and she was confused because it's from Primark and I was like, 'No, try it, it's so good!' My other friends have all bought it now too! I never thought to shop make-up from Primark but they've really upped their game."

On styling tricks

"I don't know if I'm biased because it's in my collection a lot, but I love wearing either black tights or black gloves with a dress and styling it a bit differently. I like giving outfits that little bit of edge with tights and platform heels or gloves or stockings. I feel like I'm in that era, a little more grungy and sexy. I'm definitely on that vibe for autumn/winter."

What's a non-negotiable in Grace's routine that ensures she feels her best self?

"I have sea moss every day and I literally rave about it. It's changed my life life because I had a lot of intolerances and I used to really suffer from bad skin and eczema just going through stress in my life. Off the back of that, I got lots of intolerances because my body was so run down. Whilst changing my whole diet because I couldn't eat so many things, I introduced sea moss into my diet and it basically healed my whole gut, it cleared my acne, cleaned my eczema, and my hair and nails were in better quality. Within two months, all my intolerances went away. It has all the vitamins and minerals that your body needs it's something I rave about to everybody.

"You can add it to a smoothie, but I just eat it from the spoon to get it over with. I think people give up on it because it probably takes a month to get into your system. We're all used to instant results but I'm like, 'Give it time, it'll work!' It's so good."

On wise advice

"I think trusting the process of your life and the fact fate will always take over. Being the type of person I am, I'm quite an overthinker and overanalyser. I think it's important just to trust the process of life and know that whatever happens is meant to happen. That's something I go by in life, to trust the process."

Quickfire round:

Show you’re currently binging? Made in Bondi, I love it.

Go-to cuppa? If I do drink coffee I'll have a caramel iced latte, but I normally have a peppermint or green tea with honey. I had that every single day in the villa.

Go-to loungewear brand? I love a Zara tracksuit.

Everyday perfume? I've literally used Lancome La Vie Est Belle, £67 since I was 15 and get so many compliments on it. I see people from school sometimes and they're like, 'Oh my god, you still smell exactly the same as how we remember you!'

Go-to takeaway order? Chinese - I get salt and pepper chicken, chips, egg fried rice, seaweed and sweet chilli sauce.

Favourite candle? Definitely Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir. It's very fruity but oud-y, I love it.
