Kylie Cosmetics Skin Tint review

Kylie Jenner's make-up empire has grown in leaps and bounds since the days of the Kylie Lip Kit that once broke the internet. Luckily, we can now easily shop her beauty brand accessibly in the UK. Gone are the days of waiting up until midnight for her latest drop, we can now shop her make-up from brands like Boots, Selfridges and more recently, LookFantastic.

One of her most coveted launches in recent times has to be the new Skin Tint Blurring Elixir, £26. If, like me you're a beauty junkie, you would've seen this product launch in America on TikTok and now we can finally shop it in the UK.

Whenever a new skin tint drops, I immediately want to get my hands on it. A skin tint is one of my all time favourite complexion products and I continue to reach for one throughout the summer months to give my skin some light coverage and much-needed glow.

One skin tint I love is the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint. I always find myself going back to this product as I love the radiant finish on my dry skin and keeps my skin feeling moisturised and looking plump. I was excited to see how this new launch compared to some of my faves I have on rotation.

Kylie Jenner Blurring Elixir Foundation review:

Whenever a product is described as 'blurring', I'm instantly sold. I was initially so impressed with the application of this skin tint. I found that the formula glided over my skin without the need to do too much blending or buffing. Described as a 'no-make-up make-up look', I found that this skin tint enhanced the natural look of my skin without hiding my freckles but concealed any imperfections without looking cakey. Following the advice of Kylie herself, I applied the skin tint directly onto the skin with the easy-to-use pipette and blended with a brush. I wore the shade 2.5N and it's a perfect match to my skin tone.

What did I think overall?

It has to be said, this is a perfect option for your summer make-up routine. The light to medium coverage can be built up for the ideal coverage for you and your skin type. Although it's a skin tint, the formula ensures that it lasts on the skin for up to 12 hours and promises to be sweat and humidity proof. Make-up sits beautifully on top of this skin tint and I found it looked great after hours of wear. Even though my skin is on the drier side, I noticed a more matte finish which helped to blur my pores. I would definitely recommend this skin tint to those in the market for a new summer foundation.
