Blushers, lip tints and mascaras are all - admittedly - interchangeable for me, but finding an excellent foundation is the real challenge. I want a slick formula that will cover my acne scars but be completely undetectable when sitting next to Jane from Accounts. I want something that gives my skin a lit-within glow, despite me spending last night scrolling TikTok until 3am. I want it to transform my skin and act like an IRL glossy filter, but I don't want it to guzzle up my entire paycheck.

Luckily, I have interviewed many famous faces about their beauty routines and plenty recommend the same 'perfect' thing. Introducing L'Oreal's Plumping Tinted Foundation which has officially never been so affordable and is just £9 in the Black Friday sales. The mass appeal is easy to understand - it's hydrating yet packed with surprising coverage, it adds a healthy sheen to weary complexions and the finish looks like your skin, but better.

Celebs who have waxed lyrical about the perfecting foundation include Zara McDermott, Molly Smith, Rochelle Humes, Molly-Mae Hague, and Tasha Ghouri.

Zara relied on the lightweight foundation for The BRITS earlier this year, whilst Molly-Mae Hague endorsed it to her followers before adding, 'There's been one product that I've been raving about so much recently, I am using this every single day for my make-up at the minute.'

Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends star and make-up artist, Carly Acton told heat how it's a foundation she always recommends to her clients. She continued, 'It gives you a smoother, glowier, healthier version of your own skin, it's really good. I've gone through so many bottles of it!'

I always come back to this serum-meets-foundation as it's easy to apply, doesn't look cakey and gives your skin a natural yet perfected glow. It's also a godsend for anyone with dry or dehydrated skin as the formula is infused with nourishing ingredients including 1% hyaluronic acid.

One chuffed customer rated it five stars before adding, 'Absolute favourite for everyday wear. It provides sheer coverage without the heaviness of a foundation. Perfect for a no-makeup makeup look.'

Another added, 'This is without doubt the best foundation I have ever used it's perfect. It covers great and leaves a lovely glow on my skin I have tried many types and brands of foundation and this one has by far been the best would highly recommend.'

That settles it - snap it up now whilst it's under a tenner.
