Working on heat’s style team it’s safe to assume that we get to try our fair share of mascaras. From drug-store faves, to high-end must-haves, I’ve tried almost everything. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING could have prepared me for this baby.
I’m all about drama when it comes to my lashes. They’re naturally fine and wispy, so I like super black, super dramatic and super long. If I can achieve all this without the dreaded ‘clump’ then I’m a very happy gal.
Favourites in the past have included Hourglass and Benefit, and while they’re still up there with the greats, The Diego Dalla Palma Toy Boy just pips the rivals to the post. And while the name and packaging may make it look a ‘lil rude ( you were thinking it too) it’s an absolute wonder prod, and isn’t to be sniffed at.
Promising to lift, sculpt and maximise your lashes it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Better yet, it also boasts two active ingredients that work to promote natural eyelash growth in just 30 days. So on those make-up free days you’ll be sporting bangin’ lashes. A win win situ.
To make peepers pop, apply a first coat of mascara, allow to dry, then go in with the second. Pay extra attention to the outer corners to get that swept out, cat eye effect. I like to coat lower lashes sparingly to prevent any product fall later in the day.
Not yet convinced? Check out the last pic for the full results. It may be a bit close for comfort (soz) but those lashes are pretty impressive, eh?

Top tips to get the most out of your mascara:
Turn on the heat: if your favourite mascara is starting to get clumpy, a little bit of heat can thin the formula. Genius, eh.
Don't pump: although it's tempted to pump your mascara a few times before application, it's actually really drying. Instead gently twirl the wand to ensure an even coat of product.
Perfect your technique: wiggle the wand a little at the roots and then pull it straight through your lashes. This will help create the illusion of more fullness.
