Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll ask the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…

This week it's all about Love Island season 11's Nicole Samuel, who won over the nation with her bubbly personality, cementing herself as a real 'girl's girl' and shouting “Who’s Emmma?!" during Casa Amor which quickly became this summer's most iconic moment. The 24-year-old coupled up with Ciaran Davies in week one and they quickly became relationship #goals, placing runner-up in the final. So how are the pair doing now, months after the show?

"Everything is really good, it just keeps going better and better," Nicole exclusively tells heat. "We always say, "It can't get better than this' and then something happens and it does. Everything is really good at the moment." Oh, we love to see it!

Nicole chats exclusively to heat about her skincare routine, wise advice from her mum and the £8 glow hack she swore by in the villa...

How has it been for Nicole since coming out of a huge show like Love Island?

"It's been amazing because we've had such a good reception coming out. The fact everyone is so supportive and it's just surprising how somebody like me has been so loved throughout, so it's been really, really good. I've loved coming out to all of this."

"On a self-care day I would get up and go to the gym, do some healthy exercises, eating healthy food and then coming home to relax and have a bath with candles. I also love doing my skincare routine, I'm obsessed with skincare."

On skincare

"At the moment I'm using the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, £8.75 and then I'll go in with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner, £7.70. I also love The Ordinary's Vitamin C serum, £14.10 which I always put on before adding heavier creams. I then finish with The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA, £12.80 - I love The Ordinary products!

"I also swear by Weleda Skin Food, £6.71 in my morning routine, I use it every day. Even if I'm not going out anywhere and just to the gym, I'll still use it as my skin can get dry. But I swear by it for underneath make-up. It's my first step in my make-up routine, it gives the most amazing glow."

On villa make-up

"I used a lot of Huda Beauty in the villa, that was one of my mains. I used the Elf Halo Glow, £14 as it's so natural and gives a nice glow - it's also such a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury! I loved the Kylie Cosmetics Kylash Volume Mascara, £17.10 and I was obsessed with the Blurring Skin Tint Foundation, £19.50 as well. The Elf Contour Wand, £8.80 - I loved using that on an evening. The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb, £14 I used loads and loads. I loved the Multi-Tasker Concealer from Rimmel, £6.74 too."

On villa beauty obsessions

"Everyone was obsessed with the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, £27 in the villa. We only had a few as well so we were always like, 'Who's taken it?!'"

On getting ready process

"I'm honestly not the best at make-up anyway, so I was constantly trying to get the girls to help me. Before I went in the villa, my best friend used to do my make-up every weekend before I went anywhere so I never done it before going in there. It was a bit of a worry for me because I just don't have a clue what I'm doing and I just winged it. Matilda helped a lot and Jess used to do my blush for me. Matilda used to give me her Charlotte Tilbury contour stick, £30 and she blending it in for me. We all shared products with echother definitely."

On Love Island outfits

"I didn't plan on being in there so long, I should have packed more clothes! There's a situation where some outfits strobe on camera. I brought in a lot of mesh and a lot of pattern and I'd put it on and they'd be like, 'That's strobing Nicole, you can't wear that.' One night I tried on five outfits and they all got strobed off and I literally had nothing left. It can be quite hard when you're in there and you don't get told before you go in either.

"None of us had clothes by the end were were just rationing them between each other."

On daily wellness habits

"I take vitamins every single morning and I always take an Activia probiotic shot as well to boost my immune system. Then I've also got my dog Bonnie, so I'm constantly walking her every single day."

On great advice

"Before going in the villa, one of the best pieces of advice I had was off my mam who said just be yourself and you'll never go wrong. That's definitely one I stick by, just be yourself and nothing can ever go wrong. I feel like that's so important, people forget to stay grounded when they come out of Love Island."
