We’ve all been there… you’re about to leave the house, you look in the mirror and you see that you suddenly resemble one of Casper, the friendly ghosts’ long-lost cousins. Or you put on an outfit that you spent days planning to find out there’s a cut-out on the side and you forgot to tan that area during your prep routine.

Well, let me introduce you to Skinny Tan’s brand new 1 Day Instant Tanner which will solve all your tanning mishaps and problems. It sounds too good to be true but let me tell you, this baby is amazing and it only costs £9.99.

Think of Fenty Beauty’s Body Lava but a more natural, everyday tan for the fraction of the price. The quick-drying hydrating formula is suitable for the face and body and minimises imperfections in seconds, leaving behind a subtle glow (and thankfully no unwanted scent of biscuits!) Instead, it leaves a gorgeous coconut-y smell which will have you wishing you were sat in the warm sun.

There’s no need to wait around for an hour or two whilst it develops, this wonderful product gives you an instant tan as soon as it’s applied so you can quickly pop it on whenever need to. Yes, this will be living in my bag from now on.

How to apply:

Make sure you exfoliate first to give the product the best chance of an even tan. Then, simply pop on to your skin like you would a normal moisturiser and smooth in with either the brand's Velvet Tanning Mitt or their new Body Buffing Wonder Brush(this is my personal fave as not only is it super soft but it’s easier to cover difficult areas), and using circular motions, spread it over the surface. It’s literally as easy as that.

Of course, with something like this, I was sceptical of tan transfer onto clothes but after wearing it on my arms and face all day, there was only a tiny hint and that was due to friction. Also, just as easy as it is to apply, it’s also as easy to take off using warm soapy water. Simply rinse over the skin and it will vanish.

However, one word of warning, avoid any situations where you might perspire a tad as I can vouch that sadly it doesn’t work against sweat. But, all you had to do is dab the area to remove any unsightly marks and you’ll look as good as new as it doesn’t leave streaks.
