Every time an A-lister shares their beauty know-how, we take note.
Of course, for a lot of stars, they’ll have an entire beauty entourage on standby to perfect their skin, make-up and hair ‘dos. But it’s because of this, that we really trust their judgement. With so many industry experts available at their fingertips, it’s likely they’ve tried a multitude of different brands and products as well as receiving top tips and tricks from the pros.
One star, who’s skin is always impeccably radiant, is Sofia Richie who recently shared her skincare favourites on Instagram.
The impressive, and expensive line-up includes cult classics from Dr Barbara Sturm, Sunday Riley and Summer Fridays. And it’s the latter, theSummer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, £19.50, that we’re especially interested in.
Granted, it’s the most affordable of the three, but this lip balm is a recent launch from new brand on the block, Summer Fridays, which was founded by influencers-turned-entrepreneurs Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland.
Alongside Summer Friday's, Sofia uses Sunday Riley's U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil, £68, that's laced with exfoliating salicylic acid to do away with blemishes and chamomile to calm. And Dr Barbara Sturm's Clarifying Serum, £175, which relieves redness and sensitivity with hyaluronic acid and anti-oxidants. We're guessing Sofia, like lots of us, experiences sensitive skin and the odd break-out (although it's difficult to believe from her flawless pictures).
Over on make-up, Sofia's go-to lipstick comes courtesy of Tom Ford. The shade she's stockpiling? Tom Ford Lip Color in Casablanca, £42, a pretty dusky rose that has a creamy, sheen finish. Another quick scroll down her Insta, and we've also spotted her favourite fragrance - Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, £245, and candle - Lionel Richie Home Candle, of course.
