Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll be asking the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…

This week it's all about The Apprentice season 17 contestant, Victoria Goulbourne. The former flight attendant turned budding entrepreneur owns the (very delicious) business called The Sweet Life UK and already impressing Lord Sugar.

Talking exclusively to heat, Victoria shares why she decided to apply for the show: “I was watching the show last year and I have watched it for a few series and I always thought that I could do better than them! You watch it when you're really calm and not in a high-pressure situation.

"I applied as a bit of a joke really and my family were so supportive. I don’t think they were surprised because I’ve always had my own little businesses and my family have always said I’d be great on TV and that I should go on The Apprentice."

Victoria already has over 67k followers on TikTok for her seriously speedy GRWM videos (her 20-minute routines on the hit telly show involve both fake tan and hair rollers), glowy make-up recommendations and styling videos which have pretty much influenced us to buy a Karen Millen suit. Bow down to your queen.

Victoria chats show secrets, book recommendations and the glow-enhancing product she 'got all of the girls hooked on' during the show...

On getting ready on The Apprentice

First things first. Do the constants really only have 20 minutes to get ready in the morning?

"This is my most asked question! I think a lot of people don't think we can get ready in 20 minutes, but I promise you, it's 20 minutes. I think what confuses people is the daylight situation but we get a time penalty if we're not ready in 20 minutes so it's really important that we are hitting that 20-minute goal, the producers will literally be shouting at us to come down the stairs!

"But obviously, after that, we do have a process we have to go through, the camera crew are obviously up really early and it's a legal requirement that they have to have a breakfast break and then obviously we have to put microphones on which does take a lot longer than the 20 minutes. But it really is 20 minutes, you can't top up your make-up or put another outfit on or anything like that. It is just the 20 minutes for getting ready."

On watching herself back on telly

Does Victoria watch herself back on a Thursday night or could she think of nothing worse? You would have to watch, right?

"We started off having a big party with all my friends and family and I was so so nervous at first because I didn’t know what I was gonna sound like or what I was going to look like on TV and whether my decisions were going to be good decisions. I obviously thought they were at the time but it was so surreal. But as the show has gone on it feels really normal to me. My mum would scream and shout when The Apprentice advert would come on and we’d be like, ‘Oh my god!’ And now my mum is like, ‘Oh, you’re on TV again!’ We’re getting used to it a little bit!"

On make-up for filming

"We did such long days and long hours and it’s caused a bit of a stir in the newspapers already that people think that I was crazy putting fake tan on in the morning when I had only 20 minutes to get ready. But honestly, a tan just makes me feel so good and gives me a healthy glow. Honestly, every day I was there with my Bali Body Instant Tan, I actually got all the girls in the house hooked on it and I brought six bottles of it with me and I went through them all and had to reorder is because I was going through so much!

"I also loved a full coverage foundation and concealer because obviously you’re on TV and we were doing such long days and sometimes we didn’t have enough time to top up our make-up throughout the day. That was really important for me. I loved the Too Face Born This Way Foundation , I literally recommend it to everyone. It’s a bit old school, but I love it.

"Then there was the lipstick trick. So a lot of girls will wear a lot of lipstick and it comes off throughout the day, you know when they eat lunch or something and you end up with half your lipstick on and I feel like you look really unfinished when that happens. So what I like to do is put a bit of lip liner on and then sort of draw it on a bit thicker and then put a lip balm or lip oil on and that way you get a sort of ombre effect. So when you eat your lunch it doesn’t look like it’s come off."

On self-care Sundays

What does an ultimate self-care Sunday look like for the star?

"So for me, when I look good or when my skin’s being the way I want it to be and my hair’s washed, I feel confident and the confidence just ends up making everything in my life better - whether that’s in work or my personal life. For me, it always comes down to self-care days and just having the time by myself to make myself feel better and feel more confident.

"A typical self-care day for me would be the full works! I would exfoliate, I always use the Bondi Sands Body Scrub because I’m obsessed with coconut and it feels amazing. Then it would be a full fake tan session and then I would go on to wash the hair. I’ll put in a nice hair treatment like Olaplex through it. Freshly washed hair, a tanned face and a good skincare routine. I wake up the next day and I feel so much better."

On daily wellness habits

What are the little things Vic swears by for ensuring you feel your best self?

"Definitely getting outside. I’m lucky I’ve got a dog so he makes me go out a few times a day anyway but I think fresh air for me is number one. If you could just get yourself outside and it doesn’t cost anything either. You don’t need to have lots of skincare products and do a full skincare day to make yourself feel better. Just getting outside and having fresh air is just so important."

On life-changing books

"Think Like A Monk by Jay Shetty . I’ve passed it on to a few friends and they always pass it back so I can pass it on to someone else. I just passed it on to my friend Monica literally a few days ago. It’s such a good book about positivity and how to train your mind. Basically, Jay Shetty went to train as a monk and when he came back to London he wanted to spread all of his knowledge and everything he had learned. The book spoke volumes to me so that is something I definitely recommend."

On great advice

"Me and my friends always just say consistency is just the best advice that anyone could give or get. Consistency just goes across everything, consistency in your work life, your personal relationships, your skincare, your beauty, all of these things. If you're consistent, everyone feels better in a routine. I think when we get out of a routine as humans we get a bit frantic and lost. Calm and consistent, I think it makes everything better."
