Labyrinth is an absolute classic, loved by all generations. It’s got everything you could want in a film – kidnapping, a messed-up love story, goblins, magic, David Bowie with massive hair and some TIGHT leggings, and, most importantly, absolutely killer songs.
The film follows Sarah, a young girl whose baby brother Toby is kidnapped by the Goblin King, Jareth (Bowie). Sarah is then whisked off to the Labyrinth and told she has 13 hours to get her brother back before he is turned into a goblin. Apparently, this is all in the name of love?! Anyway, as Sarah makes her way through the maze, she meets loads of cute and creepy characters, and occasionally gets sung at. Yeah – it’s bonkers, but holy hell it’s great.
If you love this film as much as we do, then you’ll want to celebrate it loud and proud.
