The Traitors FAQs
Is there a stylist on Traitors?
Celebrity stylist, Sinead McKeefry has been Claudia Winkleman's stylist on the set of The Traitors since the show aired in 2022. According to Grazia, Sinead and Claudia's vision when putting the show's wardrobe together took inspiration from 'Ronnie Corbett meets Princess Anne meets Madonna (in the Guy Ritchie days!)'.
Where does Claudia Winkleman get her clothes on The Traitors?
In previous seasons, we've seen Claudia wear anything from The Kooples to LK Benett. The looks favoured by the host are often of the designer variety. We've also seen brands such as The Vampire's Wife, Holland Cooper, Self-Portrait, Burberry and more. However, we've made it our mission to bring you the most affordable picks from the high street, so you can get the designer look for less.
Where to watch The Traitors UK?
The Traitors airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9pm on BBC One. You can also catch up on BBC iPlayer. Previous seasons of The Traitors UK are still readily available to watch, so you can binge-watch the entire series in one go and get your Traitors fix if you're as obsessed with the series as us.
Do they wear their own clothes on The Traitors?
The Guardian reported that the cast of The Traitors do wear their own clothes on set, but are sent a style pack for inspiration. Rikki Finlay, a stylist on the series who worked with the contestants revealed that this includes ‘Overall visuals for the show. Mood boards of the aesthetic. We put colour palettes on there, suggested outfits.’
When it comes to filming, Finlay says ‘The assistant is on set and she helps them put their wardrobe together. But, it’s not really a thought-out thing. It’s more if, on a night, there’s four of them in a mustard hoodie, that’s when we’ll step in.’
Why does Claudia wear fingerless gloves?
In an interview with Vernon Kay on BBC 2 Radio, Claudia revealed another of her style inspirations, and we have to say - it just makes sense as to why fingerless gloves might have become a part of her trademark. She begins by revealing, 'I want a fingerless glove and I want eye make-up that looks like I've slept in a skip'...
'I wanted to look like a male, mature French student. Let's call him Jean, right? He's in Lyon. He's on the way to a lecture. He's studying physics and he's got a scarf on. He might have a turtleneck, but... you're not going to believe this... on the way, he's walking. It's damp. I love winter. Guess what he goes past? A small pirate fancy dress shop. He picks up something. That's my person.'
