I am a firm believer in the power of the humble jumpsuit. While wearing one, I feel ten times more powerful and confident than when I’m in a dress or skirt, don’t ask me about the science of it. Offered in a rich chocolate-brown hue, this jumpsuit is made from soft cotton and defined by a ruched detail at the waist.
This jumpsuit ticked all the boxes for me when I first saw it and, when it arrived, I was even more thrilled. The ruching detail on the bodice is incredibly flattering and really elevates this piece, bringing it from an everyday item to a more luxurious one. The rich chocolate brown work is so versatile - I pair it with white trainers and a straw tote bag if I’m dressing it down- and the soft cotton material is breathable and soft, an absolute necessity for muggy city summers. The wide, cropped, legs mean you can really do anything in this jumpsuit, and it’s perfect for grabbing drinks, heading on a park walk, or just nipping to the shops.
It has a regular fit and is machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle. I’m 5’6 and it comes down to right above my ankles.
As if all of that weren’t enough to convince you that you need this jumpsuit, it has two hidden pockets. The only problem is that it only comes in one colour, meaning I can’t buy multiple and wear them all summer.
