Jazz’s Short Stories: I tried the new stuff from Warehouse petite and here are my top picks

All jokes aside this, is a place where I share my shopping tips and styling tricks for those of us whose portions run on the petite side. As a petite stylist, I'm always being asked one thing whenever I run into another petite person: ' Where do you buy your clothes from?'

Because, let's be real, finding brands with strong petite offerings can be a little tricky and for us short gals hearing a new shop that sells trousers that won't drag along behind us is pretty close to finding the holy grail.

So, when I happened upon Warehouse's petite offering it's fair to say I was pretty excited. Featuring over 200 styles they have an extensive range offering everything from dresses to suiting and occasion wear all designed for those of us under 5ft3".

You bet I couldn't place my order fast enough.

And, because sharing is caring I thought why not bring you along for the try on too.

So here are my best picks from Warehouse's petite range along with a few handy styling tips to show them off to their best. Let's get shopping...

1. The Short Suit

There's nothing like a suit to make you feel powerful and this golden hued one is a winner for Summer. Pair with something simple like this white tee to let it do ALL the talking.

2. The Occasion Dress

Wedding season is officially upon us and this hot pink number is the perfect wedding guest dress. Spot the clever ruching at the centre: it not only disguises any areas you'd rather not highlight but also draws the eye downwards to elongate petite frames.

3. The Holiday Jumpsuit

This is probably my favourite piece from my order. Not only is the leg length perfect but the bow detailing can be altered for different styles. I've worn it open here but it also looks great tied round the neck for a halter neck fit - great if you've got a bigger bust and need extra support.

4. The Boilersuit

I'm very into a boilersuit at the moment and this one is no exception. The puff sleeves are great for balancing out petite proportions while the high waisted belt effect makes legs look longer.

5. The Midi Dres

A midi dress is a seriously hardworking item to have in your wardrobe. I've paired this one with simple mules for a dressed up look but it'd also look great paired with court heels for the office, or, trainers for day-to-day.
