After seeing him as the vocally talented but hard-done-by Marius in Les Miserables, we all but fell completely in love with Eddie Redmayne. And then he went and blew us away with his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. SRSLY. Let us catch a breath, Ed?
These films, the fact that he bagged an OSCAR and the below reasons are why 33-year-old Ed-Red is way up on our crush list…
1. Eddie Redmayne's Wife, Hannah Bagshawe
Grab the tissues… Eddie recently got hitched to his ladylove Hannah Bagshawe in a candlelit ceremony at Babington House. The couple invited only a small number of close pals and their family to witness the joyous occasion. To top things off there’s also a baby on the way! Those two are going to have some seriously pretty kids. So sweet, sigh.
2. Eddie Redmayne is The Next Harry Potter Star, Newt Scamander
Could we BE any more excited about seeing Eddie as Newt Scamander in the latest Harry Potter spin-off. He missed out on the main series, but we think this is his time to shine (and for us to swoon). Set in New York before the original HP was even thought of, we are TOO EXCITED to witness the magic that is Mr Redmayne’s face.
3. Eddie Redmayne, Burberry Model (he can wear the hell out of a suit)

Eddie is so much more than a pretty face, but there was a time where that face was also all over Burberry campaigns. The boy can wear a trench as well as a slim-fitting suit. We like a man who can work some tailoring.
4. Eddie Redmayne’s Graham Norton Dance
When he performed his Oliver! audition dance for Consider Yourself on Graham Norton. Despite his age, Eddie became a little boy in the chorus at the West End. We’d pay to see him back there to be honest. Yeah, THAT. #CUTE
5. Eddie Redmayne’s Oscar acceptance speech.
Oh good god if you need any more convincing that Eddie is THE MOST ADORABLE MAN ALIVE, this speech will be the one that’ll do it. His face when his name is called, that kiss to his wife and then claiming that he wasn’t even the winner, but sufferers of ALS were. AMAZING. Srsly, no-one script this man when he speaks, only cuteness comes out when he does.
