May was basically taken over by Royal Baby mania thanks to the birth of little Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcome their daughter on 2nd at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital and named her Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Adorable.
It was also the month of the Met Gala in New York. The biggest and boldest event on the fashion calendar, where celebs often step out of their comfort zones and try something new (like a giant yellow own that looks like an omelette - Rihanna).
This lot managed to avoid landing on any worst dressed lists thanks to their/their staff's excellent styling skills...
