Cheryl is reportedly not happy about some rumours regarding Liam Payne and Rita Ora's friendship
After years of turbulent relationships, we were so happy for Cheryl when she found love with One Direction's Liam Payne.
Since giving birth to the pair's first child together, Bear, last year, Cheryl has been taking some well-deserved time away from the spotlight to enjoy him, until recently returning to work just a few months ago.
Meanwhile, new dad Liam has been working hard to establish himself a solo artist - and one of his projects has been recording a new track "For You" with friend Rita Ora, especially for the *Fifty Shades Freed *soundtrack. However, the pair have faced backlash as there has been gossip surrounding their working relationship.
A source told Closer "Liam and Rita have been spending a lot of time working together recently, and they've even got plans to perform their song together in the US. They've been casual friends over the years and they're really looking forward to sharing the stage. They've been bouncing ideas on how they should perform the song together".
However, the source continued; "Cheryl's really happy for him as his career is going from strength to strength. But she can't help but feel angry at some of the insinuations being made by others".
Liam is reportedly doing everything he can to reassure Cheryl, with the source adding; "He's said to Cheryl that she should join him and Rita for a night out, but it's hard as she's so busy focussing on her comeback and looking after Bear".
We can't wait to see more of Cheryl now that she's making a comeback!
