So here we are, you lot; Britain’s Next Top Model makeover week on Lifetime. The tears, the tantrums, the taking-of-the-scissors – literally give us a more iconic televisual moment. SEE. YOU CAN’T. IT’S THE BEST.
As the girls all get their dramatic makeovers in this week’s episode, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the biggest celeb fashion fails our eyeballs have ever witnessed.
You’d think that, with the glam squads and custom selfie lighting, famous folk would never put a foot wrong fashion-wise, but BEHOLD; some interesting choices.
(‘Interesting’, is us being really ridiculously nice.)
Justin Bieber
Remember that time JB wore an actual, full-on gas mask in the name of fashion? We’d tried to erase it from all memory, but it’s such a far cry from the whole platinum blonde all-American vibe he’s got going on rn we still have nightmares about it.
Air raid chic? Probably not gonna catch on, pal.
Megan McKenna
Megan might be preened within an inch of her Louboutin heels these days, but let’s not forget this get-up back in 2009.
Who doesn’t love a itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny red polka dot top and pink hair ribbon, eh?
Cheryl
Can’t say as we’ve ever tried cornrows ourselves, but that might have something to do with Cheryl trying it back in 2002/3 and putting us off for life. Less Cannes, more canned meats aisle down ASDA.
Zayn Malik aka edgy ‘ZAYN’
If you’d told us back in the days of his ‘CHUCK THE KITCHEN SINK AT IT’ approach to fashion (a personalised knit over a checked shirt feat. really-quite-questionable cap?) that Zayn would be approached for a Versace Versus campaign we’d have laughed in your bloody face.
But alas, here we are in 2017 and he’s fitter than we could have dared to dream. Funny how things work out.
Miley Cyrus
After a brief period of claiming a belt’s an acceptable piece of attire (like, it is – but as a top?) Miley’s now back to her oh-so-sweet-and-innocent days. We’re not saying she’s gonna be making a return to Hannah Montana any time soon, but it’s an improvement.
Bella Hadid
These days, Bella Hadid’s in there with all the fashwaaan-types and a regular on catwalks from Paris to Milan; but let’s just discuss that time she wore a snakeskin jumpsuit TEAMED WITH A BROWN BIKER JACKET to the Kids’ Choice Awards back in 2014.
Talk about a glo up.

Throwback to Kim K (you wondered when she was poppin’ up, didn’t you?) wore an actual pair of curtains to the Met Gala and we never saw our nan’s upholstery the same way again.

Don’t get us wrong, we love a bit of floral detail. We draw the line at a Petunia in the barnet, though. Sorry love.
