Fearne Cotton shows off her AW14 Very collection and reveals her next season must-haves…

What AW14 trends are you most excited about? “I love a new winter coat; some good faux fur always feels luxurious and fun!”Have you got anything in mind already? “I wore a pair of thigh-high leopard print Jimmy Choo boots last week that I felt the urge to own! Would I ever where them? Actually who cares... maybe I’ll treat myself!”

How do you shop for a new season – one big splurge or snapping up little bits as you see them? “I buy pieces as I go. Maybe a few treats from the sales with one or two basics I’ll wear again and again. There’s usually a spontaneous buy along the way too. Something I’ll wear once and then find impossible to style with anything after.”

Any tips for that tricky in-between-season time? “Kimonos are always good to throw on and then store in your bag if there’s a hot spell. I’ve been living in my Very one recently. It’s such a fun print you can wear day to night and through the seasons.”

We loved your wedding dress – congrats by the way! Any chance you'll be using it as inspiration for one of your collections? “Possibly. I loved wearing that dress so maybe I will be inspired by the shape and cut along the way…”

What beauty looks are you into for autumn? “I think during the colder months you can get away with wearing a darker lip. It’s always nice to experiment with different colours on the lip!”
