As one of mega designer Karl Lagerfeld’s special friends Lily Allen has enjoyed some of the finest Chanel times and treats. Last night in New York the British singer attended her “Uncle Karl’s” dinner celebrating the No5 the film.
Upon arriving in NYC Lily was greeted by the prettiest bouquet of flowers in her hotel room along with a chic Chanel handbag for the to take along to the dinner. Not bad, eh? Matching her mani to her designer accessories Lily happily Instagrammed pics from the event.The lilac-haired babe looked incred in her multi-tweed coat dress with stompy boots and fun green socks.
The actual reason for the swanky bash isn’t a feature length film but a luxurious commercial directed by Baz Luhrman (Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge) and starring one of the highest paid models of all time, Gisele Bundchen. Model of the moment Gisele showed off her cray figure in a silvery mini dress, showcasing acres of tanned skin, teamed with silver pointy heels. The Brazilian left her sun kissed locks loose and wavy and kept her make up luminous.
Fellow models Karlie Kloss, Lily Donaldson, Lily Aldridge and Gigi Hadid were also at the Chanel party. Pretty Lily chose a fluffy pink mini skirt with a silky military shirt whilst Karlie chose a ladylike tweed shift and pink courts.
Gigi, Kendall Jenner's BFF, took the cool route teaming her boxy monochrome jacket with leather drawstring trews. Lily Aldridge chose a quirky cream number with military buttons and a step-hem.
Poppy Delevingne was there to help Lily fly the Brit style flag looking like a boho queen in a tiered Chanel maxi dress and cobalt Chanel clutch. On anyone else this might have looked like a mess but Poppy pulled it off with ease. Stylish DJ Harley popped a cutesy cardi on over a cream pleated skirt, adding colour with her droolsome red metallic Chanel bag.
Julia Restoin Roitfeld was the epitome of uptown chic in her cream plunge dress and black extras. Look at that Chanel No5 perfume bag! So spesh. Lena Dunham’s best pal Audrey Gelman (GIRLS character Marnie is based on her!) rocked a frothy black cover-up over her LBD. Her punchy mini Chanel Boy bag looked mega cute.
