Summer was in full swing back in August, and even if we weren't soaking up the sun on holiday, we still got to do it in the comfort of our own back gardens.

And while we were knee deep in sangria and strawberry daquiri's, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj were in the height of their Twitter war (VERY juicy), and Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux FINALLY tied the knot.

But, obviously, if you needed anything else to remember it by, there's always these celebs who made a SERIOUS fashion faux pas or two throughout the month:

Britney Spears

Britney looked lovely before her ice skating show back in August. Oh, actually - that's the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards, isn't it? Oops.

Gwen Stefani

WHAT. IS. THAT?!?!? As much as we love Gwen and her quirky self, we just can't get over this choice of day wear back in August, when the crotch of her trousers were practically sweeping the streets.

Diana Vickers

We're all for a co-ord, but when Diana Vickers turned up to the Awaiting film premiere looking like she was gift-wrapped, we couldn't help but shield our eyes.

Miley Cyrus

Because we couldn't choose between these two outrageous outfits from Miley, we thought we'd treat you to two.

Dannii Minogue

Dannii Minogue tried to channel Barbie but miserably failed when she attended a concert at a nightclub in London.

Rita Ora

You may be the new princess of pop with an amazing bod, but we REALLY do not get this outfit, Rita.
