Last night, literally everyone famous person (apart from us) was at the Met Gala. The annual Costume Institute Gala is one of fashion’s biggest events of the year with celebs usually going all out to match their outfit to the theme of the night. Remember Rihanna's meme-tastic yellow frock? Kim and Kanye's matching Balmain outfits?
Luckily for us, the Met Gala is an opportunity to see a whole host of celebs in weird and wonderful designer creations (most celebs are invited by the designers so they have no choice.)
This year’s theme was "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between" and it's only the second time the event has been centred on a living designer. Kawakubo is interested in challenging our ideas about what 'defines beauty, identity and gender and goes where most other designers fear to tread' and is a very respected name in the world of fashwaaaaan.
