She sparked rumours she could be rekindling her relationship with cheating ex, Kyle Walker, after being spotted at a Manchester City match earlier this month – but Annie Kilner’s friends have urged her not to take her love rat husband back.
Now, a source tells heat that Annie – who is due to give birth to her fourth child with Kyle this month – has been in regular contact with Kyle, who is also father to her other three children, since their split two months ago.
We’re told, “It’s been a tough time for Annie – the whole situation has broken her. She’s due to give birth in the next few weeks, and there have been a lot of tears. She’s said she doesn’t feel strong enough to do this alone. Her family and friends have really tried their best to rally around and support her through this – and also keep Kyle away – but it doesn’t seem to be working. She’s admitted to speaking to him a lot, she says she needs him to help her with the kids.”
Annie, 30, and Kyle’s relationship has been plagued with drama over the last few years, after Kyle fathered two love children. Three years ago, Kyle had a son named Kairo with model Lauryn Goodman, who he’d had a fling with during a brief separation with Annie. Then, last August, Lauryn had a second child, a daughter. Two months ago, Kyle was forced to confess he was also her father, later saying he hated himself for betraying Annie. “What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions,” he confessed. “I can’t begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. The man that’s meant to love, care for and be there for her did this. The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I’m aware of and I’ve made stupid choices. But I need to own up to my mistakes — I owe it to everyone."
Influencer and model Annie first met Kyle when she was 15 and he was 17. Their relationship hit stormy times, with Kyle being caught messaging Playboy model Carla Howe during the 2016 Euros. Then, in 2019, he was accused of having a series of romps with reality TV star Laura Brown. Annie kicked Kyle out of their £3.5million mansion following the scandal, but later took him back without realising he’d fathered his first child with Lauryn during the break.
Despite all this, the pair got married in November 2021, but Annie ditched her wedding ring after Lauryn broke the news about her second baby’s paternity. She hired Coleen Rooney’s Wagatha Christie lawyer Paul Lunt and PR guru Rachel Monk, revealing on Instagram that she had left Kyle.
“Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle,” she told fans. “I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our young children is respected.”
But Annie’s appearance at Etihad Stadium with their three sons two weeks ago has fuelled rumours she could be giving Kyle another chance. We’re told, “Annie’s friends are really worried that attending the game was a sign of where her heart is at – even though she insists that isn’t the case and she she’ll never trust Kyle again. They’re afraid that he’s already wormed his way back into her life. He’s sworn that he’s a changed man and will never risk losing his family again, but they’ve heard that before.”
The source adds, “Annie is just so vulnerable right now, and she seems to be listening to him.”
