Ariana Grande has taken to her Instagram Story to show fans her 'terrifying' brain scans that highlight the effects of PTSD. As the two-year anniversary of the Manchester bombing grows closer, we can see that the tragic effects of the attack are still greatly affecting the star.

Showing her own scans alongside a 'healthy brain', fans were shocked to see just how badly Ariana is suffering from the condition, with several areas of her brain being highlighted - to which the 25-year-old referred to as 'hilarious and terrifying'.

With the PTSD brain having several highlighted areas, fans were shocked to see that Ariana's scan had almost double the amount. By sharing her scans, the singer is reportedly hoping to encourage her fans to open up about the stresses and strains of life.

Ariana recently opened up about her mental health when she was interviewed for British Vogue in August 2018. When speaking of the dizziness and extreme anxiety she endured, the 'Thank U, Next' singer admitted that these were signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Speaking to British Vogue, she said, "It's hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, it's a real thing. I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well."

Fans were worried for the 'Sweetener' star after she went though further suffering in September 2018 when she lost her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who tragically passed away at the age of 26. She recently paid an adorable tribute to the late rapper as she played Mac's songs throughout the arena before taking to the stage on her 'Sweetener' tour.

Ariana, along with multiple other celebrities, have been incredibly vocal about her support for the victims of the Manchester attack.

The recently crowned Queen of Instagram has announced that she will soon be returning to Manchester for the first time since the One Love concert, as she will join Years & Years to headline Manchester Pride Live this year.
