There’s currently a conspiracy theory going around that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are simply recreating her iconic music video for Jenny From The Block (how has she not aged in 20 years?). But a source close to everyone’s favourite rekindled couple tells us things are a lot more serious than that.
After getting back together earlier this year, J-Lo and Ben have gone full throttle with their relationship and are considering having a family. According to our insider, “Jen is keen to have a baby with Ben but knows, at 52, that is highly unlikely the traditional way, so she’s been considering using a surrogate. Ideally, the new arrival would come soon after their wedding next spring or summer.”
The source adds, “For Jen, it can’t come soon enough. She’s convinced it’s her and Ben’s destiny to raise a beautiful blended family – one their other kids [Ben has three children and J-Lo has two] will be proud to be part of. Ben thinks it’s a great idea.”
Last week, the couple were seen celebrating Jen’s 52nd birthday on a super-yacht in Saint-Tropez. And while all eyes were on Ben (who had his eyes on J-Lo’s rear), we imagine she had her eyes on her ex, Alex Rodriguez, who was partying on his own yacht nearby with a bevy of beauties.

Jennifer loved having her own twins, Emme and Max, and would happily carry the babies herself, but she’s accepted that it probably won’t happen, so a surrogate seems like the next best option. She’s got a number of friends who have taken that route, so she’s been consulting everyone for advice. Kim Kardashian [whose children Chicago and Saint were born via surrogate] has been encouraging her to go for it, and has promised to be there for her and guide her through the process.”

They’re both really excited, they know how much she has been wanting this and they both love the idea of a new baby, or two, around the house. Jen says this is the happiest she has ever been. She’s busy planning her dream wedding to her dream man, and she’s working on making her baby fantasies come true, too.”
