Three certainly isn’t a crowd where Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz and Selena Gomez are concerned.
The trio have been inseparable in recent months, with singer and actress Selena even joking on Instagram that she is in a throuple with the eldest Beckham boy and his wife.
Alongside a series of snaps of the three of them cuddling up on their New Year’s getaway in Mexico, Selena wrote, “Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone,” to which Nicola replied, “Facts.”
But fans have been conflicted over their extremely tight bond. While some are shipping it, others are baffled. One who was in favour of it wrote, “Could y’all imagine somehow meeting Selena and becoming her best friend. Like, it’s literally my dream. I cannot imagine how much fun they have.”
Another commented, “Genuinely confused right now – is this for a show or is she actually in a throuple?” It’s also been suggested that Selena could be dating Nicola’s older brother Brad, who was on the trip, too. Either way, we’re sure all three of them are enjoying the headlines their relationship is creating.
And, we’re told, Brooklyn is too in love with Nicola to question anything. The aspiring chef relocated to the States in 2020 to be with her and has spent noticeably more time with her friends and family as opposed to his own. Brooklyn has been showing off just how content he is on social media, sharing yet more photos from the Mexico trip with the caption, “Love you guys.”
Our source says, “Brooklyn doesn’t think there’s anything weird in going away with Nicola and Selena, as there were other people there. Nicola always told him, ‘Marry me, marry my friends and family’, and he’s done exactly that. He is in awe of Nicola, and part of him can’t believe that he gets to holiday with Selena.
“He and Selena have become close, and Brooklyn jokes she’s become his second wife – wherever Nicola is, Selena is there as well. But he doesn’t care, he’ll just go with the flow. None of Brooklyn’s friends from his single life would be invited on trips like this – it’s all about Nicola, her friends, family, and what she wants.”
