There’s nothing more awkward than walking in on your housemate engaging in intimate activities – unless of course your relationship is as complicated as that of Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins. Then the word awkward takes on a whole new meaning.
The pair – who have been living together since 2017 – shared an uncomfortable moment recently, which, according to our source, has left Caitlyn feeling jealous and inadequate. Sophia, 24, admitted in an interview last week that Caitlyn had “barged” into her room while she had a friend over. She revealed, “[Caitlyn] kind of saw a lot of things happening”, adding that Caitlyn “knew he was there”.
An insider close to 70-year-old Caitlyn tells us she has been hurt by Sophia’s romantic dalliances as “everyone knows Cait is desperately in love with Sophia”. Our source reveals, “Cait is begging Sophia for an exclusive relationship. Cait likes it when it’s just the two of them hanging out, but Sophia’s been bringing partners home and it’s made Cait feel jealous and inadequate. As much as she says the physical side isn’t important at her age, she hates seeing her soulmate getting intimate with others.”

The pair met five years ago through a mutual friend, when Sophia had just started transitioning and looked to Caitlyn for advice. And it seems Caitlyn treasures her relationship with Sophia so much that she’s willing to bend to her will.
“The last thing Cait wants is to lose Sophia from her life for good, since she’s like her right-hand woman,” we’re told. “Besides being her best friend and soulmate, Cait considers Sophia her number-one advisor and she doesn’t do anything without running it past her first. She’d be absolutely lost without her, which is why she agreed to this unusual arrangement. But saying it was OK and living with the reality have proved to be two very separate things.”
