Love Island host Caroline Flack has been arrested and charged with assault following a 'row with boyfriend Lewis Burton.'
The presenter, who is set to begin filming the new series of Love Island in South Africa next month, has been accused of attacking Lewis at her home in Islington, London in the early hours of Friday morning (13th December).
The tennis pro was reportedly taken to hospital following an argument between the pair, with a police spokesperson seemingly confirming the news to Metro.co.uk.
They said: "Caroline Flack of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating. ‘She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 December."
They added: "She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 December. This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man assaulted.
"He was not seriously injured."

In pretty damning words, he wrote, "It’s exactly a year tomorrow since I left a very toxic relationship and got away. Leaving probably saved my life. Seemingly referring to his tattoo, Andrew also wrote, “It’s finally gone. Out with the old, in with the new.
