She’s been doing her best to stay level-headed and focused, despite confessing she’s going through “the worst time of my life” ahead of her trial next month. But, once again,Caroline Flack’s been left reeling and feeling more helpless than ever, after even more revelations last week that boyfriendLewis Burtonhas been secretly sending messages to another woman and insisting he’s single.
As heat told you last week, the TV presenter – who was charged with assault by battery following an altercation with Lewis in December – has been doing her best to ignore the rumours that he’s been cheating on her. Although they were ordered by the court not to see or speak to each other until after Caroline’s trial on 4 March, the couple are still together, with Lewis recently claiming in an Instagram post that they were still together.
But last week, more reports emerged claiming he’d been sending flirty messages, with one newspaper reporting that it had seen a message that Lewis sent to another woman, which read, “Me and Caroline don’t go out any more. Are you available next weekend to see me?”
Naturally, we’re told Caroline is devastated by the revelations, especially since she’s reportedly been plagued by fears that Lewis has been unfaithful in the past. But according to insiders, the 40 year old is trying her best to turn a blind eye to the stories as she’s convinced that once they’re reunited, they can start afresh.

“She thinks that, because everyone knows they can’t see or speak to each other, there will be girls targeting Lewis. She wants them both to see this trial through, so they can put it behind them once and for all.”

It’s certainly a tricky situation for the presenter, especially as her trial approaches. She was arrested in the early hours of 12 December after allegedly hitting Lewis over the head with a lamp. But despite the police pushing ahead with assault charges against Caroline, Lewis has blasted the claims, saying his girlfriend is “harmless” and refusing to support the prosecution.
According to our source, Caroline remains hopeful that they’ll reunite once the trial is over. But, even if they don’t, she’s not about to go complicating the situation even more.
“Caroline’s afraid of rocking the boat,” we’re told. “Her friends can totally understand why she would want to keep Lewis on side, but they also hate seeing her suffer like this. But she’s telling herself that all of this is a massive test – and if they can survive this, they can survive anything.”
