Following Sam Thompson’s shock split from Zara McDermott after it was revealed she cheated him during her stint on The X Factor: Celebrity, it was rumoured that the Made in Chelsea star could move on with Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry.
According to reports, Chloe had asked her team to set up her with Sam after he caught her eye on Celebs Go Dating and was desperate for a date with the newly single reality star.
Now, chatting exclusively to heat ahead of her episode of Geordie Shore: Their Story, Chloe has spoken out about the rumours for the first time.
There’s nothing we love more than a shock celeb romance, especially when two of our fave reality types are involved, but sadly it seems that we shouldn’t expect to see Sam and Chloe couple up any time soon.
“That’s not true at all,” Chloe told us.
“Sam’s a lovely, lovely, lovely boy but he’s not my type.”

Surely Chloe’s got a potential romance on the cards though? After all, she told us we’d be “shocked” by the contents of her DMs when we last spoke.
Well, Chloe admitted that most of her lockdown flirtationships have fizzled out but she is still looking for The One.
She said, “I’ve been single for a year now and I am wanting to find someone, I’m a bit lonely. It’s been a long time since I’ve been with someone so I want to find someone and I am ready to settle down.
“I’m actually not really texting anyone at the minute. It’s just a weird time of year, isn’t it? You can’t go out and party and meet anyone so it’s a bit hard.”

Joshua Ritchie hits out at 'bitter people' amid Charlotte Crosby 'feud'
Chloe will star on Geordie Shore spin-off Their Story tonight (20 October), where she’ll open up about her life before the MTV show and how things have changed since she rose to fame.
“It was really emotional filming that day. Going back on what upset you and hurt you in the past, like I had a bad time at school, I couldn’t read or write for so long, and people didn’t know that I had depression. Going back through all that was so emotional,” she said of the show.
“You see me on Geordie Shore as bubbly, crazy Chloe and you would never think I would go through some of the stuff that I did. Having a bad time at school, me and my mam not having any money. All that sort of stuff.”
