It started as the perfect night for Love Island's Chris Hughes. He was walking the red carpet at the NTAs with Little Mix girlfriend Jesy Nelson, posing up a storm and showing the reality telly newbies how it's done.
But things didn't end so well, as Chris is now being investigated by police following a 'violent brawl' with a photographer; just hours after Jesy picked up the Best Factual Programme NTA for BBC Three documentary Odd One Out.
Chris was spotted leaving the InterContinental hotel all suited and booted, before a photographer approached the star.
It's been alleged by The Sun that after Chris was approached, he dropped his bags on the pavement and got into a fight with the man, with punches being thrown.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: "We can confirm that at 03:52hrs on Wednesday, 29 January, police received a report of assault and criminal damage following an altercation between two men at Waterview Drive, Greenwich.
""The incident is reported to have taken place at a time between 23:00hrs on Tuesday, 28 January and 01:00hrs on Wednesday, 29 January.
"The reported criminal damage relates to photographic equipment. There were no reported injuries.
"There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue."

He said, "She rang me, bless her, about 10 minutes after the documentary aired and she was just so overwhelmed and she just broke down on the phone to me. She's a strong girl now, she's extremely strong."Visibly upset, Chris then added, "I don't know why, but I get so emotional when I'm speaking about it."

On 17th January 2020, Jesy and Chris celebrated their one-year anniversary! The pair shared a number of cute photos with each other, with Chris calling Jesy his 'Queen'.

In April 2020 the pair split. The following month, Jesy deleted all traces of Chris from her Instagram account.
Chris' manager then reportedly had to step in and stop the fight, as Jesy and one of her male friends sat in their taxi waiting for the altercation to end.
The brawl came just hours after Jesy won her award for 2019's powerful documentary highlighting the impact of online trolling.
