Her last holiday was over three months ago, and while that is more than acceptable for us mere mortals, for Coleen Rooney it feels like a lifetime.
And after missing a family break in Barbados last month due to an infection, it’s understandable the 33-year-old sun worshipper is desperate for some rays.
But given her current marital woes with husband Wayne, we’re told she wants to go on a girly break with her friends.
“Coleen is really fed up at the moment and just wants to go away with her mates and let her hair down,” our source explains.
“She loves being in the sun and, after the past few months she’s had, she’s craving some girl time, where they can just gossip, sunbathe and drink cocktails. She’s already looking at going to Barbados in the next couple of weeks and thinks it will give her the pick-me-up she needs.”

On one occasion, she was pictured on a private yacht, downing Champagne and opening a wine bottle with her teeth, and we can only hope she does the same this time.
And nobody would blame her, given what she’s been through recently.

As well as having to deal with yet more drunken misbehaviour from Wayne, she has moved back to the UK from America with her sons while Wayne stayed to finish the season with DC United.
He is now back in the UK, but as heat told you last week, things are not good between them and Coleen has even been considering a separation, thanks in part to his lack of public support over her fallout with fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy.
“Coleen can’t wait to get away and just focus on herself, rather than everything else she has going on,” we’re told.
“The boys are back at school and as Wayne won’t start playing football again until January, he can do the childcare while she goes away. She really needs to sort her head out and thinks the only way she can do that is jetting off somewhere for a complete escape.”
