Declan Doyle: who is the FIT EOTB star who’s been spotted snogging Rylan Clark?

Fans of Celebrity Ex On the Beach were in for a treat when they saw Geordie Shore fan favourite Nathan Henry reunite with his very handsome ex, Declan Doyle, in the most recent series of the show.

They definitely had some unfinished business and the series acted as the perfect catalyst to bring them back together. However, things just sadly weren't meant to be and Declan and Nathan split earlier this year.

It seems Declan has moved on with another famous face as he's been spotted locking lips with The X Factor icon Rylan Clark, who separated from his husband Dan Neal last year.

But outside of his time on Ex on the Beach and his relationships with Nathan and Rylan, just who is Declan Doyle? Here's everything you need to know about the reality TV star and model.

Who is Declan Doyle?

Declan Doyle is a reality TV star and influencer who most recently appeared on Celebrity Ex On the Beach. Outside of this TV appearances Declan is also a model, barber and musician (wow, talk about being a man of many talents).

Declan is from Essex and although he is currently working as a barber, he has a past in showbiz before meeting Nathan.

He was at one point part of mixed-gender band NVS and, back in 2014, Declan joined Little Mix on their Salute UK tour as part of the group.

During his time in the group Declan also supported JLS and met Justin Timberlake. Talking to The Mirror on his time in the music industry he said, "My favourite moment was performing at the London O2 Arena - I’ll never forget those memories."

NVS broke up following a falling out between band members and disagreements with management. They were together for three years. It was after leaving the music industry that Declan decided to pursue modelling as a career.

In the same interview, he said, "I did campaigns for Gillette and modelled at London Fashion Week, but the constant castings here, there and everywhere and being rejected took its toll on me.

"After being told by my modelling agent that I wasn’t in good enough shape and that I had started to look fat, I decided I'd had enough of modelling and of constantly being compared to other men who were maybe in better shape.

"It wasn’t good for my mental health so I retrained as a barber and I couldn’t be happier."

Outside of these roles Declan is also an avid social media user with a large following. He currently has 47.6k followers on Instagram.

How did Declan Doyle and Nathan Henry meet?

Declan and Nathan's relationship was far from clear sailing - if that was the case they would not have reunited on Celebrity Ex On the Beach now would they?

Declan and Nathan first met over Instagram, where they started chatting and while things got off to a good start lockdown came around and threw a spanner in the works.

What happened when Declan and Nathan appeared on Celebrity Ex On the Beach?

Declan and Nathan reconnected on the most recent series of Celebrity Ex On the Beach and things appeared to go well.

Talking to The Mirror, Declan said, "When I got the Ex on the Beach call I was really nervous to do TV, especially a show where most of the other cast have been doing this for years.

"I felt like a new kid at school and was quickly learning the ropes of reality TV but I had a blast and really enjoyed it."

During their time on the show Declan and Nathan reconnected. The pair even decided to move in together after shooting came to an end.

Are Declan and Nathan still together?

Sadly while Declan and Nathan had undeniable chemistry on the show, things didn't pan out for the couple after they left the show. They recently announced they had chosen to part ways following a trip to Mexico.

A representative for Nathan told, MailOnline, "Nathan and Declan split a few days ago. As with any relationship, they don't always work out. Nathan wishes Declan all the best for the future, in his life and sobriety."

A source also told Ok! Magazine, "After their holiday to Mexico, the couple realised they were no longer compatible. They always say you never fully know each other until you live together.

"And even though they did during Ex On The Beach it was very different environment due to the cameras."

Declan's sobriety was something some thought could be an issue in their relationship. Speaking about his relationship to new magazine, Declan said, "What was really special and beautiful about Nathan is that he encouraged my sobriety. I've been on dates where people have been like, 'I find it really awkward that you don't drink. Can you not just have one?'

"It was important that Nathan understood it but he already knew about sobriety as one of his friends is seven-and-a-half years sober and in AA.

"And it made him look at where he was in life, like why was he partying too much. We had a sober Christmas and New Year."

It's great to hear Nathan was so supportive of Declan's sobriety and that this was not an issue in their relationship. We wish them both the best.

Declan sparked rumours he was dating Rylan Clark in July 2022 when they were pictured kissing on a night out in London. An onlooker told The Sun, "Rylan and Declan seemed to be getting very close outside the restaurant in Marylebone. You could definitely tell that there was a romantic spark. It looked as if they were on a date. They shared intimate kisses and cuddles outside the restaurant. The kisses looked very passionate and they left holding hands."

However, Declan's representatives have insisted the reality star is NOT in a relationship with Rylan (yet). They said, "Declan is currently single and keeping his options open. He is enjoying his time with Rylan and allowing things to progress naturally."
