Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn are reportedly expecting their first child together after lying low at their Suffolk home during lockdown.
The Thinking Out Loud singer tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart last year in an intimate ceremony at their country estate and now it’s been claimed they’re about to start a family.
According to reports, the couple have been able to keep the pregnancy under wraps due to lockdown but Cherry is said to have confirmed the news to her closest friends and family as the baby is due later this summer.
“Ed and Cherry are over the moon. They’re very excited, but have kept things very low key,” a source told The Sun.
“Lockdown was a perfect excuse not to be seen out and about too much, but things are getting closer and the excitement has been building so they have started telling friends and family.
“They’re just making the last of the preparations at home, and the baby is expected later this summer. It’s a really happy time and their families are all totally delighted for them and cannot wait to meet the new arrival.”

Ed and Cherry are yet to publicly speak out about the alleged pregnancy but it’s been rumoured for a while that they could be ready to start a family.
The 29-year-old has been taking a break from the public eye after over two years of touring and his manager Stuart Camp previously hinted that Ed may use the down time to have a baby.
He said, “[Ed] won’t sit still for long, he’s not the holiday sort. But things may change, he could have a young family relatively soon.”

Ed and Cherry became childhood friends while going to school at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, Suffolk. It's thought Ed had always had a crush on Cherry, but she left to go to university in America making a romance between the pair a teeny bit complicated.
It all worked out in the end though as they began dating in 2015 when she moved back to the UK and were first spotted kissing in a snap shared by Ed's pal Taylor Swift.
They’ve largely kept their romance out of the limelight but Ed announced they were engaged in 2018 with an adorable Instagram snap.
He wrote, “Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx.”
