Ex on the Beach couple Helen Briggs and Chet Johnson have welcomed their second child after she gave birth to a baby boy on Boxing Day.
Chet announced the happy news on Instagram as he told fans both Helen and the newborn were “cool”, although he hinted that the birth was less than straightforward.
The 30-year-old took to his Instagram story and wrote, “Update, our baby boy was born at 5.17am. Had to go down to theatre in the end, will post more later. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the messages."
“Thank you for all the messages, it's overwhelming. Helen's cool, baby's cool,” he later added in a video, as his girlfriend cradled the little one in a hospital bed in the background.
“I’m sure Helen will explain the whole labour when she can because it was mad. But yeah, we're here and little... I'm not gonna say his name yet. I'll say it soon. But yeah, thank you everyone."

Sharing her own update earlier today (28 December), Helen revealed she’s looking forward to going home and introducing their new arrival to his one-year-old sister Ocean.
She wrote, “Good morning angels, thank you for all your kind and lovely messages. Me and the baby are okay and doing fine ❤️.
“I can finally go home today to be a family of four! So excited to see Ocean, haven’t seen her in two days 💔. I wonder how she will react to her little brother 🙈. Keep you all posted! Love you xxxx.”

Helen and Chet appeared as former flames on the third series of Ex on the Beach in 2015, where they rekindled their romance.
They announced they were expecting their first child last year and welcomed their daughter Ocean that November.
Just eight months after giving birth, Helen revealed she was pregnant once again. At the time, she announced the news on Instagram with an adorable family snap which displayed her blossoming bump as Chet – who is the brother of Casey Johnson (aka Marnie Simpson’s fiancé and father of her son Rox) - held a baby scan.
Alongside the photo, Helen wrote, “When 3 become 4 🍼.”
