She’s made no secret over the years of her desire to have a baby, and has also been open about suffering “heartbreaking” miscarriages in the past. But now that Gemma Collins is loved-up and settled with boyfriend Rami Hawash, she’s upping her efforts to finally become a mum.
According to the Essex diva, she and Rami are about to get down to some serious babymaking – and, luckily for us, they’re planning to chart their journey to parenthood on a new fly-on-the-wall TV series, which will focus on her struggles due to suffering with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
And with Gemma, 40, having previously spoken about her, ahem, very healthy libido – she said last month, “I’m ready to go all the time” – we have no doubt that it’s going to be a thrilling watch.
“I’m going to have a baby next year,” said The GC last week, adding that her agent is currently “in negotiations” to start filming a new series called Gemma Collins: Making The Baby.

When the Celebrity Big Brother stars were asked what one-off luxury they would like to be treated to in the isolated house, what did Gemma ask for? Contact with her family? Nope. A pamper treatment? So, you can pay for me to have a new set of extensions. Straighteners are what weirdos use on their hair."

“Rami and I are going to try – we’re really excited about that. It’s not so easy for me to get pregnant because of PCOS, so we’re going to make a show about it. I’m ready for a baby now, and I can’t wait to be a mum.”
Gemma’s fans will know that her dreams of having children are nothing new, but since rekindling her romance with Rami in April – they were engaged in 2013, but split soon after – it seems she could finally be close to making her dreams a reality.

Last month, she spoke about the type of mum she planned to be, revealing, “The baby is going to be adored. I have a fabulous partner now, who I am very happy with, and he is good looking. The child is going to be fabulous and amazing, and I can’t wait.”
She also paid tribute to Rami in a birthday montage last month, telling him, and the world, “You are my DESTINY… the universe put us back together and I didn’t expect it one bit.”
Here’s hoping the universe delivers Gem all the happiness (and late-night baby feeds) she deserves.
