Move over, Joe Wicks – there’s a new PE teacher in town and she goes by the name of the GC. After smashing her fitness goals recently, Gemma Collins is apparently planning to launch her own fitness empire this summer.
An insider close to the Essex star tells heat, “Gem has decided that there’s a huge gap in the market to be the female Joe Wicks, and the next big celebrity body coach out there. Gem has really been studying Joe’s business model and believes there’s a pot of gold waiting for her if she really commits to it. Joe is currently worth around £10m more than Gem and she believes she can achieve that figure in the first 12 months if she plays her cards right.”
The 40 year old – who recently told fans, “Every day, I’m a step closer to becoming the best version of myself” – has got it all planned out. “Ultimately, Gem wants to brand herself like Kim Kardashian has done with SKIMS, and bring out her own fitness shapewear brands that will revolutionise how normal women and girls dress for the gym,” our source explains.
“But she’s not stopping there. She’s drawn up ideas for her own exercise equipment, meal plans, and online training sessions that she would film for paid subscribers. Gem is so savvy and such a natural-born entrepreneur, she’s giddy with excitement over all the prospects and possibilities. She’s been looking into trademarking a name for it all and working with her management and brand advisors.”
