Gogglebox’s Sandra Martin has posted to Twitter slamming current government measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, after losing five loved ones to the virus.

The former armchair critic took to the platform to bemoan scanning barcodes at venues with the NHS track and trace app, which the government are urging people to use.

Alongside a video taken in her local pub or the barcode sign in, Sandra wrote, “To Boris Johnson.

“I Sandra Gogglebox AKA Queen Bee will rather sit in jail and write book. Because am never going to take injections/vaccine/barcode/tattoo injections/or any of the government guidelines.

“#saynomorefam”.

It comes after shetragically lost five of her family and friends to coronavirus. Back in April, she pleaded with fans to take the rules seriously after revealing many of her loved ones had died.

“More tears for me, I ain't stopped crying," she tweeted alongside a selfie of herself crying.
