Gogglebox is back on our screens and we’re absolutely LOVING all the new families (check out the Gogglebox 2018 cast here). But, sadly, several of our favourites are no longer on the show.
Following the tragic death of Gogglebox legend Leon Bernicoff, his wife June made the decision to say goodbye to the sofa, and Chris Butland-Steed has also quit the show.
There’s also a distinct lack of hilarious one-liners now that Gogglebox faves and BFFs Sandra Martin and Sandi Bogle are no longer on the show together.
Sandra has revealed she’s left the show, leaving Sandi to film with Sandra’s daughter Chanchez, who filled in while Sandi took a break last year.
“When I left, I didn’t want to be famous again, my partner Sandi is interested in that famous life,” Sandra said of her decision to quit while appearing on Lorraine this week.
She then went on to seemingly throw some shade at Sandi’s ‘celebrity’ lifestyle.
“I haven’t spoken to her in a while because she’s very busy being a celebrity,” she told Lorraine.
However, after being quizzed about a fallout, Sandra insisted the pair are still BFFs.
“We’re best friends. She sent me a present for my birthday,” she explained.
Sandi appeared on Lorraine to discuss her new ITV series 100 Years Younger in 21 Days, which sees celebrities – including June Brown and Shaun Ryder – try and turn the clock back a collection 100 years using a variety of weird and wacky treatments, diets and exercises.
