It’s the most wonderful time of year and no, we’re not talking about Christmas. We’re on about heat’s Stars Dress Up, which is always the highlight of the calendar year.
What better way to reflect on the past 12 months than to get some of our favourite famous faces to get their kit off and change into unflattering at best and, at times, humiliating costumes to recreate the most iconic pictures of the year gone by?
This year, we’ve managed to rope in daytime TV legend Lorraine Kelly, TOWIE OG James ‘Arg’ Argent and Love Island 2021 star Toby Aromolaran as Adele, David Beckham and Bukayo Saka respectively.
The pictures really have to been seen to be believed.

Chatting about her transformation into everyone’s favourite chanteuse, Adele, who made a major comeback this year with her fourth album, 30, Lorraine said, “This really is such a highlight for me. I just wish I could channel some of Adele’s talent! She is the best singer in the world.
“I’ve never been blonde in my life, so this is a big deal for me. I’m so interested to see what I look like with blonde hair, and I’ve never had giant nails, either.”
Lorraine added, “I love how Adele comes every five years, dominates the showbiz agenda, and then pisses off again and has her life! I think it’s so brilliant, I really do.
“I love her, so this is a homage to her. I’m paying tribute to the goddess that is Adele. I just hope she doesn’t mind a woman of my age being her!”

Despite the challenges presented by another strange year, we were chuffed to pull off our annual Stars Dress Up feature with a stellar line-up of game celebs happy to recreate the iconic images of the year.
Queen-of-daytime TV Lorraine Kelly was particularly delighted to be channelling another queen - Adele - especially as it meant wearing a blonde wig. As lovely and as chatty as you'd hope, we had a great gossip with her about all the brilliant and tricksy celebs we've encountered (our lips are sealed, sorry guys), and she said she was excited to show viewers her epic Adele transformation shots on Lorraine.
